Ace 250 Question

The last 2 silver ring finds have marked on the 250 with the cursor bouncing between "zinker and dime" . Have any of you noticed that on your 250. Most of the time a silver ring on mine hits at dime. Could my 250 be off??

so if the ground is dry or highly mineralized, if a coin is on edge, if the target is near another target, the alloy mix of rings, how far above the target you are swining, etc, etc, etc it will have an effect on the machine. The detector has not been made that can perfectly ID a target everytime. You're doing well with what your detector is telling you. We want pics, post up your finds. It just rained here for 15 min. Hope we get more. It's been about three weeks since the last rain. Moist soil enhances the detection of targets. Enjoy your your detector, you're learning differences and that will make you a far better detectorist.
