Ace 250 tone question

Is there any way to mod that long "ding" "ding" "ding" "dong" dang sound that comes from the 250. Maybe tone it down where it doesnt sound so much like a constant bell in trashy areas? Or even a different tone?

It can be an irritating sound. Although you can't modify it; what I do is place a couple of layers of electrical tape over the speaker and that tones it down to a far more pleasant tone. The sound reduces about 80%. If it's too quiet, just peel the tape back a bit to uncover to increase the volume.
