ACE 250 Week End Finds

My wife took my 2500 to Florida for our upcoming assault on the 1715 Fleet beaches. I took some time out of bow hunting to see what the little Yella Fella could do. One of the black coins is a 1892 Barber Quarter that is pretty worn. The other black coin is a Nova Scotia large cent that really needs a good cleaning. The gold coin is a New Hampshire road token. The ring and the pendant might be good, but I'll wait until the jeweler takes a look before I get excited or disappointed. (Pretty puny total when compared to cwilk)

I know a guy that hit that beach after a hurricane. I not suppose to tell about the gold he found. Just make sure if it is nasty weather and low tide, you are MD'ing it. If it is sanded, just MD where the tourist hang out. You will find more gold there, either at the end of the day or first thing in the morning.

Are you kidding? I'll swap you my weekend's finds just for a shot that that is solid gold. Is it marked? Check the clasp on the chain for a mark too. I see three or four other things I would like in my brag book too. Great weekend for you. Somewhere I have a twin to that clip on earring too.

Chris

Let us know about the ring. You can get excited even if it is costume.

Chris: I will let you know if anything turns out good. I am taking some found rings down to Florida with me as my wife has found a trustworthy jeweler down there. The ring in this post is what has made me a pessimist on the rings...http://www.findmall.com/read.php?26,794257,794257#msg-794257

PS Very nice write up from Garrett. Finding gold has to be the ultimate. What do you do for an encore?
