Ace 250

I continue to see post where someone is comparing the Ace 250 to a detector that sells for 3 or 4 or5 times the price of the 250. That says a heck of a lot for the 250 I think.

Yeah. I saw a post earlier today on the Quattro forum, where an Ace 250 hit part of a belt bukle at 6in that an Exployer II couldn't see.
Mick Evans.

Am gong to get my fiance an Ace 250. Others in my club have used the high dollar machines for years and now most of them have gone to the 250 for most of their hunting? Must be a reason for that.

I recently purchased a Brand X, and yes it is a nice detector, with some B's & W's that may be helpful in mineralized soils or at the salt water beaches.

However, my Ace 250, at least here in Iowa, outperforms it in every category: coins & relics both. And particularly brass objects like tokens, buttons and shell casings are very easy to find with the Ace and almost none for the Brand X.

Net result is I'm using the Ace (1/3 the price) three times a much:nerd:

Oh yea, I have used it on Florida beaches a bit, and the Ace gets the goods. Don't let anyone tell ya it can't:nono:
