...thanks to Mike from Mi, Brian got an Ace 250 for Christmas last year and the few times he used it I was amazed how well it discriminates. We went to some tot lots to learn the machine and in trashy areas we used the same settings you posted in the coin mode. We can't get out much anymore but one afternoon I took Brian's Ace out in the backyard and found a wheat penny in an area I have hunted extensively with 2 of my machines, one of which cost over 3 times what the Ace sells for.

Here he is on his first outing.

The Ace 250 is so light it's a real pleasure to use and it's an amazing machine for the money.

Hey Doug
Where are you ? What temps ? Were heading to Alabama from Texas Wednesday morning a friend of mine has a old wagon trail on his land and I'll dig every signal. Have a Merry Christmas . Later Graw :yo:

I'm northeast of Bama in East TN. Right now it is cold with the highs in the upper 30's. Last Saturday it was in the 70's!! Crazy weather around here.

Good luck hunting that old wagon trail, it should be a lot of fun. That is the type of hunting I like to do, looking for Cival War relics. What part of Bama are you headed to?

Have a safe trip!!
