Ace 350 Battery Life Surprise

Gene

New member
The manual says to change the batteries when one segment is remaining.
Curiosity got the best of me so I experimented just how long the Ace 350
could still detect with only one battery power segment remaining.
Well, my Ace 350 went 8 full hours before it shut down. I was amazed to
say the least. I don't use the pinpoint button but 8 hours impressed me.
This is detecting and recovering an average of 30 targets an hour.
It didn't show any lack of sensitivity or able to hit deeper targets either.
The only thing I noticed right away was how much louder the volume was
after I put in new batteries. One segment was plenty loud though.
Good hunting to you all ! Gene
