I think its factory set like its siblings.
 
No....it is pre-set to operate in most sites up to a moderate amount of mineralization. To compensate for the higher mineralization, you have to turn down the sensitivity and the discrimination.

The reason I asked is because The tech Specs and owners manual on the garrett Site state that it quickly adjusts AUTOMATICALY for ground minerals.

If it has Fixed Preset Gb then the advertising is misleading.. ( AutoThreshold Re Tune is not Auto ground balance/track)
 
I'm not sure about the 350, but both my 550 and 2500 say when you first turn it on, to be within one food of the ground, so it can compensate.
