Long time no see, fellow Detectorists!
Today Dig and I went out on a skirmish with our respective detecting units this afternoon. Tide was nice and low... he took the excal out in the surf, and I decided to take a chance and test the Ace out in the wet sand for a change. After thirty minutes of weaving around inquiring tourists I found my first beauty. 14K and 3.6 grams of "precious".
Dig placed in second with his find, a .925 "Abstenence" Ring.
Of course there was the nail-clippers, tweezers, and Spare Change. It was a good day detecting.
Happy Hunting Guys and Gals! Hope you enjoy the pic.
