Adjustable tones on x-terra 705?

Hello,

Question on the x-terra 705 - After viewing several videos on u-tube and watching basic setup of the 705, I am confused as to whether or not one can adjust the TONE / PITCH on the machine. I am not talking about threshold tone - I am wondering if one can adjust the tones higher or lower so someone that has hearing loss (like myself) can adjust to my hearing level. (I hear more low tones than high) at the 9:36 mark on this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPJ7uMulip0 (Kevin Hoagland from Minelab USA) it seems as if there is adjustment of the tone but only in prospecting? How about for coin and relic hunting is the tone adjustable in this mode? or just prospecting? I think this machine is quite simply the most versatile I have seen thus far - especially with the idea of switching coils to hit old cellar holes (3khz) then being able to simply switch a coil and go hit the beach with the 18.75 khz. Thanks you in advance for your help.

The pitch of the tone on the X-TERRA can only be adjusted for the Prospecting mode. If you notice in that video, the Prospecting Icon (a miner's pick) is indicated at the top of the display. In the Coin & Treasure mode, the pitch frequencies for the different target ID's are preprogrammed by Minelab. They are set, but vary according to the notch segment they represent. In multiple tone mode, those 28 tones range from a low tone of 130Hz for target notch -8, to the highest tone of 950 Hz for target notch +48. HH Randy

Hi Randy,
Thank you for clarifying. I just wasn't 100% sure. I appreciate your help.
