Please can or will anyone on this forum explain the advantages or disadvantages of the Plusestar II Pro, which advertises single coins to 18 inches and large treasures up to 20 Feet ??? verses the Gold Quest SS... I am looking to purchase a detector that will live up to those claims...
Thanks in advance for all opinions and answers No matter Wheather Biased or Unbiased, disagreeable, Or ???

Hi Joe,
They are two different tools for two very different kinds of job. The Pulstar 11 is designed primarily to find large objects at great depth. Even with smaller search coils, it will not find the small rings and lower conductivity objects that the Goldquest SS is designed for. Conversely, you cannot use large coils with the Goldquest to find big, deep targets. The Pulstar will find larger coins, particularly silver and copper, at good depth. You have to decide what type of searching you wish to do.
Eric.
