Brought my unit with me to work today since beach was near jobsite. Got these 2 rings in a couple hours along with a few pennies & a whole bunch of junk. Ring with paper clip is marked 14k, other one must be brass. I think it was craig PI that warned me about all the batteries here & you were RIGHT! 6, I think. All were AA, so at least I can thow em in my detector.

Almost, need 2 more & im good. would've got em today but I had one foot in waders & saw flash of lightning. Needless to say, I didnt get 2nd foot in

Top one is junk & gold one is pretty mangled. Small too. You'll get one soon. Just keep listening for those faint breaks in your threshhold.
