Got off a little early and the rain let up a little too. Coins include a 1918 buff nick an 1884 V nick a 1886 Indian a 18?? Indian and a 1857 flying eagle one cent. Two big coppers. I'm not sure but I think I can see a date of 1739 on one of them. they are pretty worn and corroded.

No trash? hehe nice finds. I wish my coins came out that nice. Anything that isnt silver here is toast.

Good thing you didn't have the entire day off! Really a nice job. Thanks for posting

Ezrider, The spot I am currently in doesn't have a lot of trash. A few pulltabs, small bullet casings and square nails etc. I asumed that you guys wouldn't want to see pics of that stuff lol. The old coins I usually get, are much more beat up and corroded than these ones. I think the soil may be a little more sandy.

Mike-In, They do seem kinda rare. I have only found one other one, and that was two years ago.

Ray-Mo Come on out. I'll set you up.

All the coins that I have posted in the last couple of weeks have been found with the Pro coil. It just seems to be the perfect coil lately. Great seperation, depth, and accuracy. I am using Andy's coin program (modified) Deep off, fast off, high trash, ground difficult. I switch between 2 tone and four tone depending where I am at. Conductive sounds.

Thanks for the pictures Dan, and also thanks for telling us your settings. I really appreciate that.
