I understand that the Vikings turned the ball over way too many times to even be in the game but they managed to get to OT. With a Pass interference call that I thought was ridiculous, the ball was NOT catchable, and a dropped pass that, after further review, was declared a catch, the Vikings had no chance to win this game. Hard to beat the other team and the officials. The NFL got it's wish and the Saints are headed to the Superbowl.

But let me ask you three thing,You are into sports big time,Now be hornet here,In all your game's you was and UMP(I guess this how you spell it) did you EVER make a bad call ?? Can't these guys make a bad call ??

? #3 Back in March or April last year I was in Vegas and on TV three fellows was talking about this coming year in football. Two of the fellows said they were picking the Saints to go to the Super Bowl. The other fellow said they could do it but he picked another team. Now how in the world did they know that ??

Ya'll have fun now

Had a chance to 'sample' a few more cajun meals last night at a friends 'Saints' party! :clapping:
I had always heard that eating food from down that way was alot like gambling on your intestines.
Well after yesterday and last weeks experiences all I gotta say is CHA CHING!
You folks definately know how to graze!!

I was either obstructed by a player at the time of the play or just didn't get a clear look at it. At that time I would grant the coach an appeal, if it were asked for, and then I would approach my partner (sometimes just one other umpire or in college games there are 2 additional Umps on the field) and then I would ask them what they saw and if my call should be over-turned. If I. admittedly, didn't get a clear look I went with what my partner said IF he/she had a clear look and was confident about the call. That's why he/she is there.
I never had the luxury of having 7 other "Umpires, or in this case "refs" to confer with, nor did I have 3 other guys with the benefit of looking at 14 different angles in super slow motion, high definition crystal clear image on a 60 inch flat screen monitor and then STILL GET IT WRONG !!!!!

That's just how I see it.

New Orleans Saints will see you in Miami  Rick I still love you man.

Answer my other Q.How did them three men in Vegas know the Saints where going to the Super Bowl in the Mo. of March are April ?? Thats what I realy want to know.Is it all money ??

Ya'll have fun now

Hey, Elson..if perchance...I'm wrong because of some flukey calls in the Super Bowl, I 'll send you that Anchor item that I found....forgot the name of it already

Points scored per game and points given up per game. Then assign each team a +(plus) or - (minus). Example. Say the Jets averaged scoring 30 points a game and gave up 24...thus I would rate them a + 6. If their opponent was rated a +9 and the line was Jets + 10, I would bet on the Jets. The averaging worked best around mid-year. I once bet every game and hit 14 of 16 doing that. Its all statistics. :nerd:
