Howdy,

Still smarting a bit after hitting many new sites over the weekend with no new promising ground to show for it, I opted to return to the site that has produced the most for me this season. And it didn't disappoint this time either.

First two hits were Wheats right away, then things got silent for awhile. Next came the cuff link (third one from this site, none match!). I think they're neat to find - might have to make a little side display of those sometime.

Moved around to another section and got a good sounding tone with some depth - sounded a little lower than a Wheat, so thought I might have an Indian, and that's what it turned out to be. I'm constantly amazed at the condition the coppers come out with at this place. My weekend outing produced nothing but totally toasted coppers; this place just pampers them. (I didn't nick the Indian - that's an old wound).

But, my main goal was silver, and that turned out to be the very next target, with a Merc. Couple more Wheats, and then got another lower tone - another Indian. All the targets were sounding good on the 90 degree turn, and I wasn't chasing too many iffy signals today. Just working slowly and holding out to catch the good chirp, then doing the wiggle/turn/wiggle to confirm. Actually, I guess I pinpoint it first to make sure I'm on the right target before doing the turn.

Anyway, found one more Merc and the remaining Wheats on the way out to wrap up the hunt.

Thanks for looking.

Coins are sure in nice shape. Thanks for posting and two thumbs up.

Those are some pretty Indian Heads and are much nicer looking than what I find in NE Ohio. Mercs are always neat - I like the cuff link too. HH

Those wheats and injuns. You mentio of had a little lower sound. I have an XS and would a lower tone and smart screen be in the upper right like siler also.
Thanks, George

All your coins look nice DF. Your ground must be
a lot nicer to them than what we find out here. HH
and congratulations on a good hunt. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:
