Will be flying to Florida in the near future and was wondering if anyone has had issue with carry on or packed. Asking due to ion batteries

good question that probably has a stupid answer , but every mobile phone has a lithium battery in it so all planes would be empty as people would rather walk than give up their phones..

but I don't know the stupid answer sorry..

I never had any problems with flying with my Deus.
If packing in carry-on be sure to put a wrap of black electrical tape over the indicator light on the coil.
They get very concerned about that flashing light.
When ever I fly, whether carry-on or checked baggage I also packed the instruction manual on top of it.
Had a few questions, but never a problem.

I've flown dozens of times, including international. Always carry on my headphones and controller. Mostly for theft prevention. Never had a problem. For extra safety pack the user manual with the coils in case the screen the bag and get overly curious.

Good suggestions black electrical tape is perfect since we can't turn our coils off like our cell phones. Maybe an airplane mode could be added to version 4.31256

I take my headphones, controller, and coil in my carry-on knapsack. If my luggage gets lost, I can still tape the coil to a plastic mop handle.

The airline told me that no Lithium batteries are allowed in the cargo area of the plane - they are very volatile when exposed to fire.
I just packed my Deus in a carry on bag - after wrapping the coil light with black tape.
That flashing light could be very alarming at a airport security check !

And as mentioned above - putting the Deus factory manual in with the detector to help prove what it is, is a great idea - I'll have to remember that one for next time !
