I dig nickel signals in the range of 10-05 to as high as 14-05, 14-06 , 15-06 .. anything less is likely a pulltab. For nickels I will dig on those numbers, and when the whole cursor in Smartfind is pegged dead center on the bottom line. Good luck !

Same here Dave...good info on the smartscreen cursor. Sometimes we will even try "sliders" that move a little to the right just as long as they stay pegged to the bottom.
We're bound to dig something yellow at some point...right??:clapping:

Way to go Joe !!! It sounds like your really getting along well with your Explorer . Prepare yourself for a great and long lasting relationship with it .

Dave , I've also found what you said about those bottom row sliders to be true as the dirt I hunt in has varying amounts of mineralization . Thank Heavens for smartfind !!

Its a very thin 14k ring, but the SE picks it up very well. It gives a smooth low audio sound. Keep an ear out for those smooth, non choppy, responses.
