I stopped at the Bank where I've been doing business for about 12 years and asked for a roll of the new Dollar coins. The teller said we are all out but we might get some in on Fri. Okay, no problem, I'll go to my other Bank.
I went to my Bank where I have done business for 30 years and asked for a roll of Dollar coins. The woman teller said we don't have any. Being the shy quiet guy that you all know and love I asked her Why? She said all we have is the loose ones we get in change. I said well give me 20 of those and she said I'll have to go get them. We keep them in the safe. While I'm waiting I'm thinking to myself "no wonder there are none in circulation if they don't have them available for the public" She comes back with a fist full of coins and commences to count out 20 Susan B Anthonies. I go WOA I want the new Washington Dollars. She says, we're not getting any of those.
Now I'm ready to call the President.
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT??

I sent for a free one from the Mint. I should say "free" was 3 loose stamps that I had to include with the order, so the coin really cost me $1.17...but the coin was uncirculated. Bada bing...they won't circulate them. Ron

A box contains 1000 coins. He already found about 8 or 9 coins that do not have the letters on the rim! There out there guys. If you can find them! Chicago's pretty well stocked.
Rusty in Chicago.
