I went to a house that has been hunted before and found one coin. It was a 1909 wheat , when I got home it had no s . That is the second one I have dug this year. If I knew it had been hunted before I would have took my 6inch coil.
 
I have one but no "S" either!
 
Did not even think to check that. I will tommorrow.

WTG Travis! I found a 1916 Wheatie' this morning and that's the oldest one I've ever found. A few of my Christian brothers went to check out the lawn areas, at my church, before the construction company comes in to re-due it.
 
No there is no vdb on this one. Maybe next time.
