Almost broke my coil,today

I changed my coil today and when tightening the wing nut it just didn’t feel right , the plug washer at the end of the shaft had fallen out and off . Time for some contact cement to keep it from falling out and off. So keep an eye on that washer plug on the coil end of the shaft.
Also the end of the cord would not plug in . One of the pins in the plug was off center to one side ( don’t force it ) I have always been careful plugging them in. I now will always be carrying a small finishing nail with me to straighten the pin in the connector. I just slightly moved it and it went in fine.
