3 inches deep. Giving me a high nickle id (35). So high i was thinking aluminum and or foil and about to leave it be, except it was a very sharp , succinct bark in mid tones so dig i did. Glad i did. 1944 class ring, 10 k. Fair weather ahead, Good hunts all, CO

Very nice piece of old gold there. Glad you decided to dig. A lot miss those kind of things right there. No matter how many hundreds of pull tabs I get I keep trying.

Awesome ring was with him when he got it I did not dig it also thought it was foil my bad still waiting for my first gold.

Very nice 10K ring:thumbup:. It has been well worn but it's still gold and with a lot of history on it I'm sure!!!

Quite worn, great digging! Just think what was going on worldwide in 1944. If that's a man's ring I wonder if they went off to war.

Just keeps proving you need to dig everything. We keep buying better detectors but we need to buy it all.
