At a baseball park this morning I got a signal that repeated plus kind of went at an L shaped figure in the ground. I thought, naw, & moved on. But about 10 feet away I thought "I'm out here to dig, not just swing" so I went back. Here's the strange signal, an 18K gold ring, sized 8 1/2. Man, am I glad I went back. You can see the 18K on the right side, upside down. The other stamp is the maker's mark. I must have dug a kazillion pull tabs before the gold ring.

Also dug about 25 coins, all deep & cruddy and a 1944 silver war nickel. What a great start to the year ! Steve in so az
