Went detecting yesterday at a park and found a couple of interesting items. I need help identifying one of them. I found the button in the picture, has the number 11 in the front and a small square peg on the back. It is alittle smaller than a dime. Any ideas anyone. I also found this little soldier, who I put on retainer as a bodyguard.

It looks like it was cast - the lines on the back. Don't know about that one, kinda looks like the head off a date nail but the square shank is too small. Maybe a window nail. People still use them when putting up and taking off storm windows. i really dont know about that but have read things. steve in so az
