Alternate coil for Barricuda?

Would it be possible to adapt a CZ7 10" coil to work on a Barricuda, because a Whites Surfmaster PI coil also works on a Barricuda. Thanks
 
Although I have not had the need to do so or check them, if the coils "matched " electrically, they would function. The Surfmaster coil would be your best bet to play with, the CS-7 , I believe would be too far away.
Why not just call Anchor, and use one of their coils, that way it
 
As you say, Bill, the CS7 coil is too far away. It is too high both in inductance and resistance to work on a Barracuda.
