Aluminium or Stainless scoop.... Part 2

Well guess what? I dropped my laptop and smashed the screen so I'm writing this on a public terminal. MY SCOOP IS FINISHED!!!!! and now I've broken the handle:veryangry:. I'll post some pics as soon as I've got the laptop sorted, but I did pull a 18 carat gold and diamond ring out before the handle snapped, weigh's 3.5 g and has a hallmark date of 1944. Was thinking about posting plans for the scoop too. Anyone interested?
Anyway, Happy Hunting, Mark

Post away! Scoop stuff is always interesting. The last scoop I had built is smaller than most but works great in the gravel/rock/clay of the Northwest, its stainless and great for skimming through the rocks to get the gold off of semi soft clay "bed rock".

Best Regards,
Steve

Hi Mark...

Sorry about your laptop and broken handle, maybe the ring will pay to have them fixed!?
What beach location do you hunt? We're planning to hit the Georgia coast this next week,
it would be nice to find an 18k diamond ring!
Post some pictures as soon as your puter is up and running!

Best at ya!
