Poking around an old site with the Manticore and I found a first for me. I have only seen Goodyear rubber buttons in a museum {Steamboat Aribia} and now I have an excellent example. For a small fee I will share my settings LOL {eyeball find} 1851 patent date!

I have only ever heard about them, congrats on finding one sir. Next on the list is the ones made for the sharp shooters during the civil war.

Great find of the rubber button, and an eyeball find at that. Over the Top! Was this found in a CW site? Congrat's to you. I have never found one
