Man what a nice day.... and it's only going to get better tomorrow with the temps into the 60's.
Here are today's finds at Silverado... in a section I was working in before the cold came... most were deep including the standing liberty, no date and no stars with the eagle... too bad, this could be a key date. The ground was soft for about 4 to 5 inches and then frozen solid, but I had my trusty tiger shark which rip through the frozen ground. I've also notice that at the end of the winter when the ground is frozen under soft soil, metal is much more receptive to a detector...
5 Rosies ... 1947-53-57-62
1 Merc. ... 1943
1 Standing Liberty... ?
1 Plastic Quarter wnat to be....LOL play money...
1 Lucky Charm... @ 10" inches
Thanks for looking and God Bless you all.
