Really what a joke.So all my beltbuckles and buttons are worth 100s each according to them an ax 500 a saw 1000 show me a place I can seel to and get that JOKE!!!

Chris- there's lots of dialogue over on the metal detecting forum, but they've been moved to the views forum on this subject. Do a search on American Diggers for additional forum comments. I haven't had a chance to see it yet,so I can't no comment.
BTW- it's possible that maybe no one replied to your comments was because it was difficult to understand what you had typed ?(No offense, but my wife's a teacher, so I've been there too, Buddy).

I had dvr'd this week's episode of A.D. where they recovered the auger, two man saw, bear trap, etc. After reading the other forum postings, it was no shocker to see that all the team cared about was making money/maximizing profit. That's just not what this great hobby is all about. The one positive note I saw was a brief (too brief) historical description of the items recovered. I think the show portrays us as vultures and now I'm gonna have to really look like an ambassador of good will for this hobby everywhere that I hunt to off-set the image these shows may etch in the minds of tv viewers.. ...And btw, who hunts near a stream in zero degrees and no gloves ?

Saw it,no antique dealer is gonna give you that much for crap, rigged show, dont like it!

Made for T.V

How much time do you think a former pro wrestler (Rick Savage) pounds the ground 10 min for the camera come on.
