Amigo II finds small gold!

n/t

the Amigo II is modded by the sens turned up. the tone is a high pitch change too. before i catch any grief it was done this way before i got it, and i would not even think about a warranty issue. this machine has paid for itself over and over. i love it. fast light and friendly to use. an old version of the Compadre with the ED180. and hotter turned up.

my friend and I were hunting the park and we have not had rain in a month. NONE. we were limited to about an hour and we could not dig where i actually wanted to. we did not want to leave tracks either. it was hard for a leshe and a Zenport to even cut a plug. i decided to draw the Amigo II and hunt on HIGH disc, between pulltab and zinc. i wanted to find recent drops and not work too much. clad was aplenty. elbie found a nice piece of a silver brooch thing, good chunk, biker or native jewelry.

i got a good signal. did the shake, x and cross, the signal was still there. so here goes another aluminum cap--nawwww.. i popped up the little band. it was bent to a pretzel and cut by a lawnmower strike. the thing broke when i tried to straighten it. it has a solder mark where some little mount set. the inside said 10kt magnolia. my guru is a jeweler and verified it. it weighs a whopping 1.4 grams:lol: he said he had bigger pieces than that in the carpet under his work bench. it was so thin it only had one side.

my point-- the ed180 is great on gold. little gold that's about $25 spot, I'll take it!

Nice job...I wouldn't give you grief over a mod. If it works it works and the fact that you found gold with it makes it all the better.

Keep swinging it and lets see the pics.

Hey Dixiedigger57, Gold is Sweet no matter how much or what form, and absolutely sweet too is anytime we can be swinging the A II. The more I swing mine the more I want to swing it. It is just plain fun and always comes through with some goodies. HH, Charlie

I have a compadre with the 7 inch coil and the sensitivity also turned all the way up.
I love it this way and I will never change it.
Congratz on the gold!
