Anyone have experience with this detector?
Heard that its comparable to the Compadre or is it
not as good.
Will it hit small gold chains ?

Hi Joel, The A II is the forerunner of the Compadre, and only difference is the newer lightweight

They are so good, folks are willing to pay more for one than a used Compadre.
Go figure.........................I like mine. Good back packer.
Good for Canuk coins as well. Cherry pick Loons and Toons, set disc at about zinc setting.

Hey Sven, nice job on the Sense Mod.! Mine aint so purdy, since I just drilled the hole and added a piece of srink tubing inside for a guide for the screwdriver.Works though. Joel, that extra knob is a Mod. (hole) allowing access to the sens Pot by screwdriver/dial so it can be cranked up or down. Not really needed though as you open it up and tweak the Sens without burning your Lifetime Warranty.I had alreaded a coil plug outside so Warranty was already voided, so an added hole didn't matter.
