In Romans 9:25, Paul quotes Hosea 2:23, and in verse 26 he quotes Hosea 1:10. The background is that God instructed Hosea to take 'a wife of whoredoms' Hos. 1:2 as an illustration of God

I have learned by trials and hardships that I can lean on and trust in Jesus to fulfill the promises of His Father, God Jehovah, because He never forsakes nor leaves His own when we have believing faith and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth! We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but He came in the name of Jesus born of a virgin, died and has risen that we might be saved by the confession of all our sins and turning away from sinning, willfully, which is a free gift to each of us! All we have to do is believe by faith in Who Jesus is, for He is the way, the truth and the life to joy and happiness with our Lord in new Jerusallem city forever more! Amen! Ma Betty
