The T2 luck is still with me !! On April 27Th I found these two. The T2 was fitted with the standard coil this time with settings Freq.3 sens 72 disc 20 sounds 2+ found on plowed land. The coin is from the reign of King Stephen minted at WAtford A.D. 1135/154 They were never well stuck another first for me. Although I have been at the hobby for over 30 years. The other find is a complete Crotal bell of circa 1680 together with the makers mark as seen. its 1.5 inches diameter made of cast bronze and still rings ! They were used on Sheep and horse furnishings at that time.

Very nice! That's the kind of find that makes an absolutely outstanding day. How many hours did you have to put in before you found them?

I spent an hour on the field but found these two within half that time. Then went onto the field again after a bite to eat and spent another half hour findining Late Roman coins a few in poor condition plus WW2 bullets (25)
