Hit the same park I detected yesterday that gave up the 5 Indian heads and a V-nickle. Hoped for a few more of those nice cents. Had an uneventful start finding a few wheat cents and then a deep, iffy signal caught my attention. After digging down the length of my X-1 probe, I pulled a 1912 Barber dime from the hole, stuck the probe back in and it still rang out with a high tone. Was temporarily disappointed when the next coin out of the hole was a wheat cent. Stuck the probe back in and another high tone target was still in there. This time a 1918 mercury dime came to light. Gotta love those pocket spills. Later on I dug a nice 1886 Indian head cent and a few more wheaties. Had a decent weekend with 6 Indian head cents, the Barber and mercury dimes and a V-nickel.
