1 Kings 17:7-12 Elijah and the Widow at Zarephath "Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. Then the word of the LORD came to him:

God used the Ravens and the brook to feed and water Elijah, who obeyed the Lord's command to do so and then He sent the widow to feed and give Elijah drink when she and her son were starving and about to die....they each obeyed and were helped in their situation to live on and do the Lord's work! Even drunks on the street can be used of the Lord to help His Children! My brother, Larry, one time when he was down (suffered with depression, too, and took his own life) had an old drunk on the street speak the very words he needed to hear at the time and this does happen over and over when we are Spiritually aware of the workings of our Lord God Almighty and how He moves through His Son and Holy Spirit! How many would eat (unless starving) from what the Ravens bring because they eat upon flesh of animals which have already died but Elijah hearing God did what he was told and God spared not only his life but that of the widow and her son! Obey and see what our Lord has for your life by your faith in Him and His love for you! Let us lean not to our own understanding but to the Scriptural Truth of God! Amen! May God Bless and keep His Children safe and provided for in every need! Amen! Ma Betty Also, prayers ended the drough which Martin will be posting soon, I am sure!
