An answer to a prayer.

A couple of weeks ago, he rolled up to me in his wheelchair and held his face with his hands, grimacing in pain. Big tears rolled down his face and dropped to his lap.
"Daddy? Why am I in so much pain? Why is God letting this happen to me?" He then ran down a list of all the things he can't do and after he got it all out of his system he said he just wanted to be normal.
All I could say was...I don't know. What I did know, was that something good would come from this and all we can do is try to glorify God through this battle. Somehow, His light will shine and touch someones heart and maybe, just maybe, someone would put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
So we prayed.
One day the following week Brian rolled up to me again and told me he had been called down to the principles office. My first thought was, what in the world did you do? He said that was his thought too.
Brian can't remember the exact details of the conversation but the gist is this. The principal told him that he wanted Brian to know that he was an inspiration to him and the teachers and his fellow students. He went on to explain that he wanted to tell Brian that, at that moment, because if something happened to him on the way home he might not get another chance to tell him. An inspiration!!
"Brian...that is the answer to your question last week!!" His eyes got big and he smiled a big smile while shaking his head yes. He could see that even though he was suffering his life had a purpose. He is an inspiration to others.
Thank you, Mr. C

My question: Has Brian been an inspiration to you and could you say how he has inspired you. I have a reason for asking.
Brian has inspired me in many ways. We have never met face to face (yet) and he has touched both my life and my heart so many times. Sometime back Brian broke a leg bone and was in severe pain. I recall when it had happened he showed his faith in Jesus...in front of others. That was a demonstration of his faith in God. Many would have sworn, using the Lord's name in vain. Not Brian.
I know this is but one instance of his faith showing others his love of our Lord.
The troubles Brian has gone through makes anything I have ever had to endure seem so small when I thought they were so big, Its when looking at oneself I become overwhelmed sometimes by something, yet how small it really is compared to looking at what others are going through or have to endure.
Brian, you are an inspiration to many. Just wanted you to know that from me. God bless you Brian.
