Like their 15 khz Explorer. but don't get me wrong they're the best value on the used market.
It is used for calibrating the machine. Not for access. I was sent an e-mail stating that if owners accessed that part it could and most likely would alter the operation of the machine if something went wrong. Minelab does not want the responsibility of releasing it publicly. It could cause the machines to all be sent back for recalibration.. To much liability !!!

I dont know why they just wouldnt say.... if not used properly it could void the warranty. Another one of those little secrets... like what are the randum settngs of those 26 freq on each of the 11 channels.
