.... I dont have a color printer. I know you dislike Mavica cameras, but keep in mind, this is a nonprofessional use item, I use mine for home inventory, posting of metal detecting finds on the forums,macro use, hobby photography, and just plain fun. the 20x zoom doesnt hurt either.. For serious use Ill grab my 35mm
Most of us cant afford nor do we need a high end 5 to $10,000 camera Ive got less than $700 tied up in my FD95, that includes camera, an extra 550 battery, extra charger, and alum. case, all items are brand new out of the box items, these fit in my limited budget. I like the idea of being able to download my pics without the use of cables, special card readers, or some of the other pariphanalia (sp?) that is required of other cameras
I understand your need for the higher end units for your professional uses, I also hope that as time goes by and with practice, my abilitys with my camera will pass even your keen eye and taste
I respect your opinions and experience and look forward to your instructional based post, but please give us layman digital photographers a break
