Not sure if anyone else has the carbon straight shaft but have a question. The part above the handle where you install the Deus mounting bracket attaches with one thumb screw vice two small screws like the stock shaft. Unlike the thumb screw that is used to keep tension between the upper and lower shaft, the thumb screw that holds the control box assembly only gives you the tiniest bit of pressure before it breaks off and free spins. I was very careful and know I haven't stripped it, just seems like the thumb screw tension hole was drilled a smudge too large. I can get it just to the point of not spinning on itself, but the level of pressure holding the bracket just isn't instilling confidence in me.
Anyone else have the straight shaft, and is the above normal? Thanks in advance.
