Android app

I downloaded an app for my Android phone that provides walking directions to a parked car. Typically a driver would park, and tell his phone to remember the location. When the driver wants to return to the car, the phone provides a google map and directions back to the car.

It occurred to me that while out detecting, such an app could be used to record a particular spot that was "hot" with coins etc. so the person could return later. Or maybe a good section of the beach could be so recorded.

The name of the app is: "Find My Car."

Android app that give the GPS coords of where you are. You can also set all the other option boxes to what you want to view... tons of categories. I picked ones like time, target, altitude and a few others.

best feature is the 'push pin' feature that you can mark locations, such as car, favorite spot you found, GPS coords someone posted of a spot, etc. You can save a lot of them.

it will also grab Gps coords off satelites, cell towers, wifi, whatever give the most accurate, it's awesome!

name of the app is "GPS Essentials"

I was told there was even a MD app. if u try it let me know.
