on the platinum yet, have you done a shoot out on the platinum and f-4, have you tried the DD coil on it, i called BH and they said they didn't know what Freq it operated at either, because it was built for Cabelas, come on BH. does the GB work in disc. we just need some more info

I got a T2 from Cabellas when they first came out and it never worked right.....It would'nt ground balance or "ground grab"Had to put it in all meatal and manual ground balance it to work right.Now they make better ones I guess.Anyhow You have 10 days I think to take it back for money back and I DID....
Might have to try one of the platinums......Always take it back.......

Paul i love my T-2 even though i have to send the coil in to have it water proofed, it is the r-6 update, very stable, no interferance problems in areas where my whites would pick up , love the way it handles iron, great machine. if you try the platinum let us know, need a back up, otherwise it will be a XT-50 ot F-4, for the kid or wife to use.

I still have it and can't wait to come back home to the US to detect with that fine detector.
I'm in germany right now and will be back next week.
I had very limited internet access here and couldn't answer the questions on the forums.
