Andy`s book

Hi all, just curious , have any of you read Andy Sabische`s new book..."Mastering the quattro and safari".
I have the previous version and was wondering if the new one has much more to offer.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, Andy's new book has more coverage on the Safari and Quattro. More charts, graphs, important
tips and techniques, Internet web sites, books, magazines, accessories, etc.
The new book simply goes into more detail and simplifies this information so that anybody can
easily understand how to use your Safari and Quattro in a short period of time.

I am convinced the book s worthwhile but feel it was a bit to short and often very vague and general.

Even though Andy counsels against mimicking others and their settings I would have like to see a lot more canned setting and where ot employ them. With so many contributers (there are a lot and geographically spread) favored settings would be easy to list and allow newer users to start out employing tried and true settings...

A few more Safari speciifc images (vs Quattro) would be nice. With Andy's entire collection in hand I feel comfortable with my machine. Always learning stuff on every venture into the field.

Someday I might even find something worthwhile I can keep. (My only ring find was returned to the owner)

Get it, it is a worthwhile read...

Thanks all for the replies and being honest about your findings, I would prefer something dedicated to the Safari but will try to get 2nd hand copy at some stage as

Well, I had the first one on the Quattro, and it helped alot when I actually applied it. But since I lost that copy
and can.t seem to find it anywhere, I ordered a copy of Andy's new book Today. I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Hi Jarhead, let us know what you think of it when you get the chance, thanks.
