Andy Sabisch Quattro Safari Book

Remember that this book is supposedly coming out in eformat soon.

In lieu of actually having the book, is there is anything in particular that you might researching or need information on, maybe we can collectively can help you out with any info; tips etc;. ?

Had the safari for a couple months. Trying to fine tune my hunting skills. Seem to find coins, caps and flips, but I'm not sure if I'm passing over other things. no

Not how to send a PM to you.

iirc you have to have 5 posts here to send or receive a PM. you are sooooooooooooooooooooo close........................

Thanks for all your replies. I frequently check e-bay for the book as well as Amazon for the e version. I'm hoping to get my hands on the book to hone my hunting skills. Not sure if I'm passing over good targets or not. I hunt in coin/relic, low trash, auto sensitivity and go very slow. What settings do you guys recommend for beach hunting?

Beach: Disc out the negative #s and run the maximum sensitivity that it can stand. Personal preference, but I always hunt in Conductive. Dig it all at the beach unless you are Certain its trash.

Don't worry about passing up good stuff while you learn. You will want to go back to the sites again anyway when ground conditions(eg soil moisture) are different. 3 years after I got my Safari, I found a silver ring less than 20' from the spot that I found my first silver ring. Both were 2 to 3" deep. Even with the silver hound that the Safari is, I still don't know how I missed that ring on a site I've hunted at least 3 times prior. Just didn't get my coil over it, I guess.
One other thing, now that I run a CTX mostly, going back and looking at the GPS track of my hunts shows me that regardless of how meticulous I grid a place, I wander and leave spots unswung over.

Not sure when the ebook is supposed to come out, but you might try contacting Andy directly and asking if he has any spares left that he might be interested in selling. That is how I got my copy, and he even autographed it! I still have a long ways to go to really "learn" my machine, but the book really has helped!

Kellyco is supposed to have the Sabisch book in a couple weeks. Check their site kellycodetectors.com. At the beach I use low trash all metal mode cross saved to coins/jewelry. I do not discriminate the negatives out as I have found a coin or two among the negatives when I really slow down. I recently dug a 1peso Dominican coin that had a negative reading.

Thank you so much. That would be great! I'll gladly pay you for it. Not sure how to PM you with my information. My email is: bayviewflo@aol.com
