Hi Dirt, I have read mine 4 or 5 times and every time I learn something else. Some of it is hard to understand first time through but it sure helped me a lot. I keep mine by the bed and read about a hr. every nigh or two.Make you some notes and try them out when you are out hunting. Good Luck flintstone

read the book watch Garys videos and you will be on your way,btw if you watch Garys expert training videos first it would be easier imo to understand the book. I learn better by watching so it made my life easier . good luck to you.

Really shortens the learning cure for sure. I would have liked to see more information on tones. I took a look at the tone selection, and found between 100hz and 200 hz there are 165 tones, but only 13 tones to select between 702 hz and 800. Also the others have a lot lower to pick from than the iron or lower tones. I'm thinking there are also limited tones used in full tones but have no way of looking at those. Does anyone have any input on the range of full tones?

Andy's books (manuals) should be included with every detector sold.
I have bought and used them on every detector I have that they are available for.
I dont know how he does it but I am glad he did.
They help understand all the features of the detector a LOT!

It's a great book with many very good hints. (Although a bit too "American" sometimes, which makes translation difficult for the audience here ;) )
