:ranting:YEP, THERE'S NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT THERE ARE THIEFS WORKING IN THE POST OFFICE:rolleyes:BOUGHT A 1900 MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR.WAS MAILED FROM CONCORD ,N.C.WENT AND CHECKED THE MAIL THERE IT WAS AN EMPTY ENVELOPE WITH A HOLE ON THE LOWER LEFT HAND CORNER.I OPENED THE LETTER FROM THE TOP WITH A KNIFE AND THE COIN HAS BEEN BETWEEN TWO IN-DEX CARD S TAPED TOGETHER'.CALLED THE POST OFFICE NOTHING BUT AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYEES ANSWERING THE PHONE ----CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH AND THEY ARE MAKING $40 AN HOUR :yikes:SOUNDED LIKE OBOMO AND HIS HOOD."DON'T KNOW NOTING SENIOR":nopity:I HAVE HEARD THE SAME STORY OVER AND OVER AGAIN FROM OTHER PEOPLE.AND I DOUBT THE SELLER INSURED THE CONTENTS??? SO,IT GOES AS THE WORLD TURNS:laugh:

The workers at the St. Louis down town post office have been caught for years opening the envelopes of cards that they think might have money in them and are stealing any cash and throwing the cards in the trash along with any checks....I don't think they are brave enough to falsely endorse checks...which would really bring trouble for them, but any theft while sorting is difficult to prove...so nothing is done and those working....just say, I or we don't know nothing! Cameras were set up and did catch many postal workers stealing and some were fired! Don't send cash through the mail and if coins are mailed make sure the envelopes look like regular mail without bringing attention to what is inside! This world is full of greediness, thieves and power hungry people that won't get any better until this nation and others, too, come back to or accept the One, True God in the name of Jesus! Sorry that you paid for but lost a nice coin! Taking advantage of and taking from people that which does belong to us is evil.. :angel: Ma Betty
 
I know how you feel, it has happened to us also, here is what i do now, i use so much tape that it looks like even houdini cannot open it,but as for when receiving mail, if at all possible, i ask them to do the same,tape ,tape, and more tape, and then fool them big time, on the envelope, write FRAGILE<PHOTOS works every time,praise god.
 
....In this movie,some guy was caught breaking into some hard-case's cars-did they phone911??OH,NO-They opened their car door;forced the theif to put his hand in the open door frame held there by a big guy,and slammed the car door on his hands-ONE AT A TIME as hard as they could:(.I hate to say it;but maybe this is the kind of thing that needs to happen more.It makes MOST people think twice-or THREE times-about stealing.....................

Welcome back TammyLynn....My youngest daughter has the same name, but uses Tami now instead of Tammy! Your info is good, but I sure wouldn't be able to open it for a year, as I have arthritis sooo badly! :lol: I hope the post office workers haven't read about your idea...as they would carry scissors with them!! :sad: :cry: May God Bless! Hi WG-Steve....that is really drastic but nations' people, who are atheists or worship false religions, cut off one or both hands of thieves...Now that is really drastic! If the judges would make those who steal work at hard labor until they pay off what they owe to the victims plus extras like the Bible states then that would do more good,....and no one would like to work extra hard for nothing and not get the money themselves or have the say so in how the money is spent! The USA has to get back to its Christian roots and ask God for forgiveness for our sins...beginning with believers in Jesus and then He will hear from heaven and heal our land! Amen! This forum has the wrong title, why call it Christian when it sounds like every other worldly forum!
I sure Jesus would be glad to read some of the hatred his followers are speaking!

If I were not a saved person, and looking for hope believe me this wouldn't be the place for me.

I will pray that the God Lord who loves all people no matter who they are, or where they are from,
will cleanse your hearts of such hatred for you fellow Man.
 
who stole $500 from the Commanders Safe of the Crews money. 2 days later at about 3 am we heard a scream coming from the galley. We ran up and the thiefs hand was in the door. They dogged the door. The doors are water tight.!!!!!! Neddless to say we NEVER had a problem with thieves again. That is the Truth to you before God. It's rough but effective, for sure. !!!!!! The guy was given a Dishonorable Discharge. He stole the money. He was the catalyst that set up these actions, Because of his actions he could not honor his Contract to the Coast Guard or anyone else. Thus he was Dishonorably Discharged.

Second, we did not even mention Obama. Theft knows no Parties or Boundaries nor does it care too. I find it strange that you judge us on this Forum, maybe with initial good intents, but you yourself show utter contempt for each of us. Where is your love ??? Yes sometimes people do say things that are wrong. That to me is called being human. To be FALLIBLE. To sit there and denegrate a whole Forum due to it is WRONG. !!!!!!!! Nope I'm not perfect, I understand being upset or angry over someone stealing from another person.
I've Had numerous things stolen from me. Yes I feel violated and wronged, but I've learned
that the person that stole from me probably needed it more than I did.
You know its awesome the way the Lord Works. I used to detail cars. Mobile business
Well my suv was broken into one morning and I had jobs lined up that day,
When the police arrived he asked if I wanted to file a missing items report, All my gear was taken.
I said its o.k. the person probably needed it more that I did.
It turned out that the person who stole my things was the person I hired to help me detail cars on the weekends.
When I confronted him because one of my customers called me to ask why he was there to detail their car and
and I wasn't with him.
I noticed my buffer brand new my vacum, my polish, everything in his car.
I said looks like your in business for your self now huh?
He said I could have it all back and After some harsh words and telling him that he is to never come around me or my customers ever again
I told him to keep it all and I hope he will be able to learn something from it.
P.S If you are reciving or sending something of value send it fedex or ups overnight shiping its alot safer than the postal service
Workers there have been stealing for years and years, you would think people would learn from the past.
Postal thieves have been in operation for many many years, same with Airline baggage handlers, you just gotta be careful with things of value!

No I'm not prefect but if we lead by example more people will be willing to change and come to know the true and living God

I am glad God is my judge and not human-beings, for we are all human and human's fail even in the judging of others, for only God knows what is really in our hearts and, apparently, some believe differently than I do and judge me by what I believe and others on here, too, for what they believe and post! Gee, to walk in perfection the way Jesus does would make us pefect as He is perfect, which none of us have arrived to, as yet, which each of us should be striving for through the help of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Jesus called those who thought they were righteous, hypocrits and vipers for he knew their hearts weren't what their mouths were speaking! I won't judge you Jadesun but God will and I don't think he is pleased with your judging us on this forum like you do, for I love Jesus and He is my own personal Savior, Who lived died and lived again that I also might be saved by the cleansing of His shed blood of my sinful soul by my repenting of my sins!

If you don't like the postings of the way we believe, then go form a forum of your own and post the way you believe that we should at all times! When men and women do wrong, including our gov't, then I will say they are wrong for the sake of our nation, our children and grandchildren & etc., but I also pray for them for God to change their hearts and ways so we can continue in having our freedoms by our Constitution formed by our believing forefathers....written in the day of the Lord so long ago! Do you think maybe you should quit judging and do more praying for those who don't believe as you do and for our Gov't leaders and all employees to be saved and have Christian love for the people whom they are supposed to serve and listen to instead of voting for laws to fulfill their greediness and to be able to stay in office for their own power and selfishness????

May the Lord give you eyes and ears to see and hear the absolute truth of God and not be a hypocrit yourself! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
 
I am from the adirondacks and my dearest is from long island and we met in '07 in my territory,and he took me to his,and to tell you the truth, we both love the country better than the city,so he built our home in stratford n.y. my dad (God rest his soul) passed in 2000 and metal detecting was his hobby so we are continuing in his shoes,and we love it, john likes finding relics and i like finding coins.Im not on the computer much as we spend our spare time treasure hunting,thanks for the welcome back!
 
remember the story of job,stay faithful, the lord will give you back all that is stolen from you , and more, that 1900 morgan dollar will make it into your collection if you ask the lord for it,i know for a fact,cuz it happened to us, we got our coin collection stolen the 1st year we hunted,we prayed about it, and now, we 've found more than double than when we started,praise god.
 
Yes, material things come and go but our souls will live forever and it is best that we be believers in Jesus, the Savior of our souls, Who is the one and only God, Who created and gave us each life and then died and lived again that we might have life and have it more abundantly here and for eternity in God's glorious kingdom! Whether we should pray for maetrial things or not, unless we really need them, is questionable but if and when we do....let us pray Not my will, Oh Lord, but Thine be done for He is our Heavenly Father and knows what is best for us! Amen! Glad you and hubby are liking the :twodetecting: hobby and finding more and more! I sure did like it when I was able to go out swingin' and a diggin' but with arthritis and COPD it is just too diffiuclt for me to do any more and I sure miss it! May God Bless!
