hey all,
i have been thinking about getting into this hobby for a while now but most have said im too young (25). i have been reading alot of the articles on this site and veiwing everyones finds. i was thinking about what type of detector to get but when i visited my family for the holidays i spoke to my brother about all this he just so happened to have a brand new bounty hunter 202 sitting in his closet that he didnt want, cha-ching!!!!! he never found anything good with it living in the middle of nowhereville so he lost intrest. me living in southeast florida feel i have a better than average shot at finding some good stuff! i want to hit the beaches but other than that im stumped for ideas. ill figure it out as i go. wish me luck!, i may need it.

)down here. im sure the sand is much differant here than it is where you are rennie. i do pretty good in the dry sand but as soon as i get near the water the detector starts receiving alot of false signals, either that or theres a whole pirate ship under the sand! i could have dug my own grave trying to figure out where those signals where coming from!
but my overall experience with the 202 has been great, i just got to get around to posting more of my finds.
