Hunting in the turf around a basketball court.
Again the F44 set up in Custom mode. This time FE was notched out, Coin segments were high tone ( for battery money ), Gold segments were VCO.
Got a nice 44/45 signal. I'm thinking, "thats a good number for a 14Kt Mens wedding band. Nice hard lock on with a TID of 45 with an ocasional drop to 44.
Pinpointed with the FX-1 Sunray probe only about 1-1/2" deep down in the grass roots. Popped it out with a screwdriver.
Yes! Gold!, Yes! has a stone!, Yes, has markings inside the band!
Wait a minute...wait a minute. Juicy? Size 7? What's a Juice Ring?
Ok. Almost gold again.
Turned out to be gold colored or gold plated "Juicy" costume jewelry. Size 7 ring with a big crown and a 3/8" x 3/8" amethyst stone in it. Or might be purple glass, though I doubt it based upon the grind marks on the stone.
I'll keep trying. I know there is a piece of gold out there with F44's name on it.
There is one section I have to go back and hunt. Turns out I hunted that whole little section with probe switched on. Arrrggggg! HAHA
