another cool find-not a coin

I went back yesterday to the same spot where I have been finding some good old coins and stuff (1842 Seated Dime, 1865 Two Cent piece, Pill box, Crotal bell, and a big old musket ball. Well this time I didn't find a coin ,but I did find something connected to the musket ball.At first I thought it was just some decorative piece of iron, like the end of a curtain rod or something like that.As I looked it over it came to me what it was and now that I have cleaned it up a little it is plain to see. It is a flint holder/hammer for a flintlock. Probably a pistol from the size. Like I said it's no silver coin but I think it is just as cool and probably as old or older than any coin I have found.
