How do you take the coil cover off with out damaging the coil on the 6x10DD coil

Hey Bob
I run mine under hot water for about a minute and it come's right off as the heat let's the thin plastic expand just enought.

Not a dumb question at all. Those things stay on good. So good that I seal mine with neutral cure silastic (silicone) so that nothing will ever get in and I never have to worry about the hassle of taking it off to clean out the dirt and dust.
