for evolution to occur there has to be a higher and higher degree of intelligence from previous intelligence.
In other words people are supposed to get smarter not dumber.
Case in point. I had to find in a hotel of 251 rooms, 120 chairs to take to another hotel and swap those 120 with the ones I found at hotel 1. Spent 8 hours trying to find decents chairs and hauled them into the haiiways. Had to keep the front desk informed so they didn't rent out rooms that had no chairs. Some rooms now only had one chair so had to combine the bad chairs with other bad chairs to keep a room open for renting out.
Chairs on the first floor could not be left in the hallways as I did with the ones on the 2nd floor. The firist floor chairs I had to carry - yes carry - (as we have no dolly that would accommodate these chairs) into a meeting room on the first floor.
Next day get a truck and start moving the chairs from the 2nd floor to the truck. There was just myself and the other maintenance guy to do all this work and we had no idea if we had any help at the other hotel or we had to do all the swapping over there by ourselves. Hotel 1 has no elevators either. Hotel 2 does but not working very fast.
OK it is now 10:55 am and we just got the truck loaded. We are now told we were supposed to have had this job done by 11 am. Someone on drugs? We only have the first load on the truck. We still have to take these over, unload them, swap these for the others, take theirs and load them, bring them back to our hotel, unload the truck then load up for the 2nd trip there.
OK I won't give you any more blow by blow details - it is just too insane.
Long story short: The other hotel was going to be inspected. These hotels are both owned by the same people. I'm thinking they want a better rating so get the trashy chairs out and get good ones in. That was not the case. Both sets of chairs were in great shape. So why the hassle? Seems the chairs at hotel 2 did not have little feet on the bottom of the chairs and they slide on the carpet making them a hazard. So now they don't have the hazard....we do.
Here is what we figured could have happened had we been told about all this. We could have just bought the little feet, gone for half a day and nailed them to the bottoms of the chairs. Then neither place would have a hazard. No truck would have had to been rented. No stress from the comments made. The exhaustion would not have happened...was about 90 percent humidity and over 80 degrees yesterday and day before. So we were dying from the heat and work.
So once again the lack of intelligence is living proof we didn't evolve. For those who want the short version of why we did not evolve....read Genesis
