Went back to the old house and property yesterday. Found my 1st Gardner 2 ringer. Also pulled in a silver plated broach. I met up with the property owner first thing and returned the broach that I had found last week, a stag walking through the woods....he new it to be one that belonged to his mother who had passed away. You could see it in his late 70's eyes...it brought back memories. Felt good bringing it back for him. Can't wait to show him this one and see if it also belonged to his family.
A lot of ground to cover in there and most is still to thick to get too. We'll see over the next several winter months what can be recovered.
