Balenim,any hunt with silver or a wheat penny is great.Consider yourself fortunate to live in a climate where you are able to hunt.This year 2008 was a good year for me. I'm making plans for even a better year and looking forward to 2009.

You are so right. It's great to be able to go virtually every day in the winter. In fact, down here you really can't do a lot of hunting in the late spring and summer cause of all the critters and the ground is so hard and dry you can't dig. Any day with silver is a good day. I hope you have a great 2009. I'm getting ready to head out the door to go see what I can find to start the year off right.
